Seven Carat Blue Topaz Diamond Halo Engagement Ring

This blue topaz halo ring is crafted from genuine 14k yellow gold and centers an oval blue topaz of just over seven carats. Round natural diamonds ring the stone in two staggered tiers, the outer points set higher than the inner so the border finishes as a scalloped star. Standing 20mm tall on shoulders that split into a V beneath the cluster, it balances color, sparkle and lift.

How to wear it: a stone this size wants a bare hand around it, so keep neighboring fingers clear. It stands far too tall to sit flush against a wedding band, so turn it inward or take it off before anything rough. Blue reads brightest against white, navy and gray.

Returns

JEWELRY CARE

Avoid harmful solutions, exposure to chemicals can damage or discolor precious metals - gold, silver and platinum – and may harm some colored gems. Everyday substances like hairspray, lotion, perfume or other cosmetics can contain chemicals that will permanently damage the surface of your pearls and other delicate or porous gems (i.e. turquoise).

Fine jewelry should be removed before diving into a chlorinated swimming pool or before using household cleaners. Many of these cleaners contain ammonia, which can be too harsh for delicate gems or vintage jewelry. Chlorine bleach, another common household solvent, can pit or damage gold alloys.

CLEANING

The safest way to clean your jewelry is by wiping it with a lint-free cloth or with warm water, mild soap and a soft toothbrush.  Do no use any household cleaners, like chlorine and toothpaste.
