Marquise Ruby Wing Style Earrings 14k White Gold

These wing style earrings are crafted from genuine 14K white gold, set with six marquise cut natural rubies to each ear stepped open from a folded plane of mirror bright metal. Narrow slivers of space separate the pointed stones, so the color flashes in sequence as the pair moves. Measuring approximately 14mm by 9mm and fastened with butterfly backs, they hold a wide fanned angle across the lobe.

How to wear it: butterfly backs secure these, sliding up the post until the clip bites, and the weight is spread across the fan so the wing keeps its angle all evening. Wear the pair with the points sweeping up and back toward the temple. Hair off the face, and let the neckline stay quiet.

JEWELRY CARE

Avoid harmful solutions, exposure to chemicals can damage or discolor precious metals - gold, silver and platinum – and may harm some colored gems. Everyday substances like hairspray, lotion, perfume or other cosmetics can contain chemicals that will permanently damage the surface of your pearls and other delicate or porous gems (i.e. turquoise).

Fine jewelry should be removed before diving into a chlorinated swimming pool or before using household cleaners. Many of these cleaners contain ammonia, which can be too harsh for delicate gems or vintage jewelry. Chlorine bleach, another common household solvent, can pit or damage gold alloys.

CLEANING

The safest way to clean your jewelry is by wiping it with a lint-free cloth or with warm water, mild soap and a soft toothbrush.  Do no use any household cleaners, like chlorine and toothpaste.
