Freshwater Pearl Diamond Drop XOXO Earrings .75cttw 14k White Gold

These XOXO drop earrings are crafted from genuine 14K white gold, each one centered on an eight millimeter freshwater pearl above two pave X motifs set with natural diamonds. The X motifs stack straight down the lobe and carry three quarters of a carat between them, every stone holding its own bright point of light. Measuring 22mm by 8mm and secured with a butterfly back, this slim pair carries shimmer, texture and length.

How to wear it: a vertical line lengthens the face, so this suits a rounder jaw and a higher neckline. Keep hair off the ear or the upper X disappears into it. The butterfly back holds the piece against the lobe rather than letting it swing, so it stays legible in photographs.

JEWELRY CARE

Avoid harmful solutions, exposure to chemicals can damage or discolor precious metals - gold, silver and platinum – and may harm some colored gems. Everyday substances like hairspray, lotion, perfume or other cosmetics can contain chemicals that will permanently damage the surface of your pearls and other delicate or porous gems (i.e. turquoise).

Fine jewelry should be removed before diving into a chlorinated swimming pool or before using household cleaners. Many of these cleaners contain ammonia, which can be too harsh for delicate gems or vintage jewelry. Chlorine bleach, another common household solvent, can pit or damage gold alloys.

CLEANING

The safest way to clean your jewelry is by wiping it with a lint-free cloth or with warm water, mild soap and a soft toothbrush.  Do no use any household cleaners, like chlorine and toothpaste.
