1991 Panda Coin Ring with Fluted Bezel & Presidential Band

This fluted bezel coin ring is crafted from genuine 14K yellow gold around a 1991 Chinese panda struck in .999 fine gold, the bear face up at its bamboo. Ridges cut into the bezel push light outward like rays, and the presidential shoulders carry bark texture on either side of a polished center. At 18mm by 23mm it combines bright metal, worked texture and heft.

How to wear it: a coin ring is worn face up on the ring or middle finger and rarely wants company. The bezel stands proud of the band, so it will not sit flush against a second ring, and fine gold is soft enough to keep clear of keys and countertops. Bark texture forgives marks a polished band would display.

JEWELRY CARE

Avoid harmful solutions, exposure to chemicals can damage or discolor precious metals - gold, silver and platinum – and may harm some colored gems. Everyday substances like hairspray, lotion, perfume or other cosmetics can contain chemicals that will permanently damage the surface of your pearls and other delicate or porous gems (i.e. turquoise).

Fine jewelry should be removed before diving into a chlorinated swimming pool or before using household cleaners. Many of these cleaners contain ammonia, which can be too harsh for delicate gems or vintage jewelry. Chlorine bleach, another common household solvent, can pit or damage gold alloys.

CLEANING

The safest way to clean your jewelry is by wiping it with a lint-free cloth or with warm water, mild soap and a soft toothbrush.  Do no use any household cleaners, like chlorine and toothpaste.
